Pumpkin, chilli harvest pickle.

With sooo many tomatoes literally falling off the vines I decided that it was time for the first pickle to be made. This is usually a few weeks later into Autumn but the produce is ripening thick and fast and aint about to hang around for the calendar to keep up. This is a batch of b/c grades - not about to waste the delicious tomato and basil salads!

 Same goes for the pumpkin - not about to hang in for Halloween - at least there were plenty of seeds in this one.

 A before it is cooked shot....am just about to bottle up now....and boy does it smell gorgeous.
